BRAND SPANKIN' THURSDAY!

So, it's been quite a while (LOL 8 MONTHS) between actual posts on here aside from the new minor posts I've done on our Facebook page. I've decided to take back the reigns and really focus on this blog again after it gave me so much excitement and joy to get recognition from the artists I was reviewing.. So beginning this today, Thursdays are henceforth dubbed "BRAND SPANKIN' THURSDAYS" the concept being that I will showcase the 5 newest/best tracks of the week!

So without further delay, I PRESENT THE FIRST BRAND SPANKIN' THURSDAY!!

1. Here is the first taste from La Roux's new album titled 'Trouble In Paradise'. The track is named 'Let Me Down Gently" upon first listen it seems too slow and not hard hitting enough from their previous material.. But that being said, it's upsettingly beautiful the way the track progresses over it's 5:40 length and eventually turns into an undeniable bop. Get excited because they're coming back to snatch weaves once again.

2. The Debut single from Ex-X Factor contestant from 10th (?) season that aired in the UK Ella Henderson. The track is named Ghost and it's absolutely STUNNING. I do prefer it in it's remix form, but her voice just commands to be listened too, such depth and emotion in her voice for a girl of only 18.. She's gonna explode over the next two years, MARK MY WORDS!!!

3. Next up is Cher Lloyd, I personally hated her during her debut era.. It really rubbed me the wrong way so I was incredibly surprised when I listened to a track named "Bind Your Love" from for forthcoming album 'Sorry I'm Late' (Which i am now eagerly awaiting!). It's a mid-tempo love/stalker song ('I will come for you') a massive stomping beat over the chorus and then the pounding of the drum over the "I will bind your love, bind your love to me" just throws me to the curb. I'm sold. GIVE ME MORE!

4.  Royksopp & Robyn are back together for a mini album 'Do It Again'.. The title track and first single 'Do It Again' is an ABSOLUTE smash, there is just something about Robyn's vocals on any of her tracks that just captivates me. This could be me jumping the gun here, but this could possibly be her next 'With Every Heartbeat'.. I cannot wait to hear the rest of the album, which is released in only 2 weeks time. YAASSS MAMA YOU'RE GIVING ME LIFE!

5. Nero are back with a new track to 'Satisfy' your needs. The vocals kinda sound like something that COULD have been left off their last album.. But gone is the dubstep! I'm not mad, in its place is this euphoric hybrid industrial production. It's actually fucking nuts. MORE PLS.
