Track Of The Week: Little Boots - Motorway

Little Boots took ownership of my soul back in 2009 with the release of her flawless album 'Hands' - tracks like 'Stuck On Repeat' (AND the Fake Blood Remix was fucking masterpiece), 'Remedy',  'Earthquake', 'New In Town', 'Ghost' 'Hearts Collide', 'Meddle' - ACTUALLY Pretty much every track on the album is worth mentioning so it's no surprise that she was the winner of BBC's Sound of 2009 which was a HUGE achievement considering the people she was up against in that years list (Florence & The Machine, VV Brown, Frankmusik, Mumford & Sons, Kid Cudi, Lady Gaga, La Roux, Passion Pit, The Temper Trap, Empire Of The Sun)

Now Little boots is back (From out of space) and ready to regain control of my soul in 2013 with her new album 'Nocturnes' which is set for release in May. Opening track from the album "Motorway" has literally kidnapped me and taken me to my perfect place, it's bordering on dream pop territory and really just a beautiful tune, the vocals are smooth and it almost feels like she's singing softly into my ears at some points which I have to admit, I enjoy it immensely and the synths in this are literally rocking my world and i love that bongo on the bridge.
