Originally meant to be released in about 2 weeks and I can't decide whether I'm happy that she's leaked so early, sometimes when tracks leaks early it really makes for a lackluster performance.. I just hope that Ms. Banks promotes this properly because it's not really the most instantly likeable track she's released which is actually a really brave move for a first single from her first studio album. Pushing boundaries, I love this chick.
'Yung Rapunxel' is a real bass heavy track which will go down extremely nicely throbbing over a sweaty dance floor, I particularly love the yelling that goes on in the middle of the track. there isn't really a great deal of focus on the rapping, the vocals at times can be a bit hard to understand as the production is basically off it's chops, it really makes me want to be drunk.
If this track doesn't automatically appeal to you, please I urge you to listen to it a few more times, you will find yourself not being able to stop! this is MAJOR
Her debut album 'Broke With Expensive Taste' is set for release later this year.
