So it seems that Selena is back (But dropped The Scene) with a house influenced Pop track "Rule The World". Selena was my super guilty pleasure back in 2011. Somehow at every gathering I went to at my friend Rhiannon's place, "Love You Like A Love Song" and "Hit The Lights" would come on at around 1am which we were all inebriated enough. She would also be played loudly on my iPod when I was alone.
Rule The World hasn't really had the same effect on me, although I love it and I love the house-y influence and it is a bit more spaced out from other tracks out at the moment which is do really love, I just don't feel the staying power of this. It's not exactly generic, but there is something extremely forgettable about it.. Like I won't remember this track existed in a month. Nonetheless, it is very enjoyable and fun.
