ALBUM REVIEW: Emma Louise - Vs Head Vs Heart

I don't think I've done much else in the last week apart from listen to this album, I didn't even think about a track of the week as I've been so enthralled with this absolute beautiful collection. This has been almost 2 years of anticipation for me. From the moment I first heard Aussie folk/electro/pop singer songwriter Emma Louise's track 'Jungle' I was completely sold and then her EP came out which I was clinically obsessed with and helped define a time in my life where I was really unsure of where I was going and what I was doing, So it comes to me at no surprise that the connection to her music has continued with this album and BOY it is nothing but impeccable from start to finish..

NEW: Selena Gomez - Rule The World

So it seems that Selena is back (But dropped The Scene) with a house influenced Pop track "Rule The World". Selena was my super guilty pleasure back in 2011. Somehow at every gathering I went to at my friend Rhiannon's place, "Love You Like A Love Song" and "Hit The Lights" would come on at around 1am which we were all inebriated enough. She would also be played loudly on my iPod when I was alone.

New: Justin Timberlake - Tunnel Vision

So as most of the world is probably aware of by now, the reigning King of Pop is back after a ridiculously long music hiatus with his new album "The 20/20 Experience" - Which he has recently confirmed that it is only Part 1 of the Experience. Part 2 has no released date yet but I'm pretty glad there is going to be a second part as I haven't been blown away by this Era so far..

Tune Of The Week: HURTS - Blind

Theo & Adam AKA HURTS have been soothing my soul for the last few years, their debut album was an absolute religion for me. For so many months I lived and breathed their music, so when they dropped their first single earlier this year I was immediately in love all over again and brought me the brink of excitement for their 2nd album 'Exile' which was released last week.

INTRODUCING: Little Jinder - Whatever 4ever

Today I have a new artist to share with you all. Little Jinder originates from Stockholm, Sweden and has been making amazing synth-pop records for a couple of years now. She first burst into the scene in 2008 with first EP and then in 2009 with her track 'Youth Blood' which got remixed by a few big names and ended up on a couple of complications (Fabric, Hed Kandi and Diplo's Blow Your Head).

PREVIEW: Empire Of The Sun - Ice On The Dune

The Boys are back and ready to take over the world again. They are teasing us BAD with this trailer for 'Ice On The Dune'.

NEW: Le Kid - We Are Young

Swedish pop band Le Kid are back after some small success back in 2011 with their track 'Mercy, Mercy' and their debut album 'Oh, Alright!' This time they aren't holding anything back! This new track still has the funk that their previous tracks have had but 'We are young' really is a step ahead!

NEW: Azealia Banks - Yung Rapunxel

Originally meant to be released in about 2 weeks and I can't decide whether I'm happy that she's leaked so early, sometimes when tracks leaks early it really makes for a lackluster performance.. I just hope that Ms. Banks promotes this properly because it's not really the most instantly likeable track she's released which is actually a really brave move for a first single from her first studio album. Pushing boundaries, I love this chick.

Tune Of The Week: Kat Dahlia - Mirror

This weeks Tune Of The Week comes from new comer Kat Dahlia, she caused quite a stir with her lead single from her EP of the same name 'Gangsta' and catapulted herself onto my radar big time!
So with the release of her EP this week came 2 other tracks 'Mirror' and 'Money Party' - Mirror is another mid tempo track which initially I wasn't too keen on, but as I kept playing I actually found many reasons to love this track.

Track Of The Week: Little Boots - Motorway

Little Boots took ownership of my soul back in 2009 with the release of her flawless album 'Hands' - tracks like 'Stuck On Repeat' (AND the Fake Blood Remix was fucking masterpiece), 'Remedy',  'Earthquake', 'New In Town', 'Ghost' 'Hearts Collide', 'Meddle' - ACTUALLY Pretty much every track on the album is worth mentioning so it's no surprise that she was the winner of BBC's Sound of 2009 which was a HUGE achievement considering the people she was up against in that years list (Florence & The Machine, VV Brown, Frankmusik, Mumford & Sons, Kid Cudi, Lady Gaga, La Roux, Passion Pit, The Temper Trap, Empire Of The Sun)

NEW: Parachute - Hearts Go Crazy

Parachute are currently shaping their 3rd studio album which is set to be released around June 2013 and here we have the first taste of what they have been working on..This track is giving me some SERIOUS 'The Wanted' realness and I'm really really enjoying this.
