This weeks Tune Of The Week comes from a great band called Semi Precious Weapons. If anyone doesn't know them I recommend having a listen to their debut album 'We Love You' which was originally released back in '08 through Razor & Tie and then again in '10 with a different track-listing through Interscope records. These guys also we're the support act for the blessed Mother Monster on her Fame Ball tour throughout 2009-2011. I Saw Lady Gaga twice on her Fame Ball tour in melbourne but I do not even remember them being the opening act, which isn't really a surprise because really everyone was only there for their patron saint, Gaga.
This track 'Aviation High' is the first offering from their upcoming third album which to my knowledge is still unnamed. I don't really have a lot to say about this track other than it's dug it's way so deep in my mind and I cannot get it out. All day at work I'm singing the chorus in my head and it is giving me some HUGE The Sound Of Arrows vibes which is probably why I like this so much. Absolutely LOVE the bridge and that chorus. This track is just really amazing.
Just added their album to my anticipated 2013 release list.
