NEW: John Newman - Try
Most may know the spunky John Newman from being the lead vocalist on two MASSIVE hit singles by Rudimental, "Not Giving In" and "Feel The Love" both of which got a spastic amount of plays on my iPod while twerkin' in the lounge when no one was home and on any public transport trip you could probably hear either track blasting in my ears from 5 people away as well as both tracks placing in the top 20 of the Triple J Hot 100 countdown of 2012 in Australia which is easily Australia's biggest countdown.. So i'd be shocked if you hadn't come across either of said tracks in the last 8-12 months..
John is in the process of gathering together his debut album together which is probably going to be MASSIVE if this demo of an album track 'Try' he has released is any indication of what's to come. The track itself is loud and very instument heavy which is relieving from the synth/electro world that the Pop scene is stuck in at the moment. I love the chorus, it just explodes and makes me want to scream "I WILL TRYYYYYYYYYYYY"and drop to my knees in a dramatic fashion, which you can probably find me doing later this evening.
I'm predicting huge things on the extremely talented Mr. Newman's horizon.
You can listen to the demo of 'Try' and you can also download it HERE
