LISTEN: FOXYGEN - SHUGGIE

Foxygen are a signwriting Duo from Los Angeles, They immediately resonated with me when I heard their new single Shuggie back in October, it garnered SOOO many plays on my train trips to and from the city.. I had been waiting for their album 'We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic' which is released on the 22nd of January through JagJaguwar Records.. But it's seemed have leaked early through a promotional pre-order/download which is totally cool with me :)

I've heard the whole album and it's really a great collection of tracks! Their track San Francisco reminds me of San Cisco's 'Awkward' which was a big track in 2011 and continued into 2012 in Australia. This really is such a welcome break from all the pop music I listen to. They are a mixture of 60's Psychedelic rock with some Indie chanting and some seriously fun moments.. I kinda feel like I wanna be stoned/on acid/shrooms while listening to this..
